Hey today I had my 3rd class with the 1st graders. It was so much better than last week. On Thursday I spent 9 minutes of my 30 lining up at the door and entering the class. They kept talking, running, pushing and not following directions. Today it paid off. 1 time in and they were all very quiet. I was very encouraged. I was reminded why I love first graders so much. They have the energy and excitement of 5 adults!!!

I'm glad it worked, Hannah! It just goes to show that spending extra time in the beginning working on discipline saves lots of time later on! Good job, Teacher!
